US natural gas inventories likely fallen by 2 Bcf in the week to Nov. 22, according to a survey of nine analysts, brokers, and traders by the WSJ, below the five-year average for the time of year.

  • This would take total storage levels to 3,967 Bcf.
  • Survey estimates ranged from a withdrawal of 7 Bcf to a storage build of 9 Bcf.
  • The five-year average change for this period is a net withdrawal of 30 Bcf.
  • Under these figures, the storage surplus over the five-year average would increase to 267 Bcf, up from 239 Bcf the previous week.
