LNG: Nigeria LNG Delaying Shipments By As Much As Two Weeks

LNG

Nigeria LNG is delaying gas shipments by as long as two weeks after supply to the export plant fell, Bloomberg reports.

  • The plant is receiving about a fifth of the fuel it needs. Vandalism and sabotage have curtailed its operations and exports in the last few years, with impacts intensifying more recently, Bloomberg reports.
  • Nigeria LNG CEO said last week that only two of the facility’s six processing units are currently functional, and three gas pipelines are down.
  • Nigeria’s LNG exports fell by 40% in February according to Bloomberg data.
