No Fuel Shortages From French Strikes: TotalEnergies

French Strike Update: French strikes against the government's proposed pension reforms have disrupted fuel deliveries and refining operations at several sites operated by TotalEnergies and Exxon Mobil's Esso on Tuesday.

  • TotalEnergies representatives said oil product movements out of its facilities are blocked but there is no lack of fuel at its service stations and stocks at depots are at a high level.
  • All six of TotalEnergies refineries impacted by the strikes have a capacity of around 1.5mn bpd.
  • Esso said deliveries are blocked at its Fos and Port Jerome refineries but with no impact on production.
