OAT/Bund spreads test the 2012 double top

CROSS ASSET
  • The OAT/Bund spread might be showing flat in early trade, but the continued outperformance in Bund futures, and the heavy OAT futures is pushing the spread through the Aug/Sep 2012 double top situated at 81.5bps, now at the 81.6bps mark.
  • BTP actually outperforms this morning, and for outright futures, support in OAT is still at 123.15, but more importantly 122.87 (2024 high in Yield).
