*Euro-dollar opened in Asia toward the lower side of Friday's $1.1763 to $1.1858
range, where raised prospects of US tax reform underpinned both the US dollar
and US rate yields
*Euro came under early pressure, with Catalan/Spain concerns are weighing.
Catalan's parliament is said to convene in the comings days and discuss how to
respond to the Spanish government's decision to impose direct rule. Euro dropped
from near $1.1775 to $1.1751
*As UST yields began to slip into negative territory broad-based dollar strength
started to dissipate, Euro recovered from around $1.1755 to $1.1773. Heading
toward the European open Euro trades at $1.1770, not too far from this morning's
open.
*Hourly resistance lies at $1.1788-90, while hourly support from Friday remains
at $1.1750.
