OI Indicated Mix Of Position Swings Across Euribor Curve On Thursday, Fresh Lows Seen

EURIBOR

The combination of yesterday's weakness in Euribor futures and preliminary OI data points to a mix of net short setting and long cover through the greens.

  • The whites and the greens saw net short setting in pack terms, while the reds saw net long cover.
  • Further out, the blues saw contained net OI swings, which didn't really move the needle from a net positioning perspective.
  • Offshore matters and flash European PMIs were digested, while the equity rally and broader core global FI moves filtered in.
  • Most Euribor futures contracts registered fresh cycle lows on the day.
