OI Points To Limited Net Positioning Swings Beyond The Whites On Wednesday

EURIBOR

The combination of yesterday's twist steepening on the Euribor strip and OI data points to the following net positioning swings in futures on Wednesday:

  • Whites: Seemed to see a mix of net short and long setting.
  • Reds: An apparent mix of net short setting and long cover.
  • Greens: An apparent mix of net short setting and long cover.
  • Blues: An apparent mix of net short setting and long cover.
  • OI changes beyond the whites were fairly limited, outside of what seemed to be net short setting in ERM7.
  • ECB speak didn't impact pricing on Wednesday, with various speakers reiterating their already known views.
