OIL: Shell Ramps Up Gulf Coast Production After Francine: Reuters

Shell said Sep. 13 that they are ramping up production at its Appomattox, Mars, Vito, Ursa and Olympus platforms in the US Gulf of Mexico, Reuters reported.

  • This follows the resolution of downstream issues related to Hurricane Francine.
  • Perdido, Auger, and Enchilada/Salsa remain shut because of other downstream issues and drilling is still on hold at the Whale asset, Shell said.
