Oman’s Duqm refinery's units are running at full capacity of 230k b/d, according to KPI’s CEO Shafi Taleb Al-Ajmi, cited by Market Screener

  • The refinery has exported at 70 shipments of oil products to date, Al-Ajmi was reported to have said.
  • The refinery is a joint venture between Kuwait’s KPI and Oman’s OQ group. The refinery is part of Kuwait’s strategy to refine 425k b/d of its oil abroad.
  • The refinery will be inaugurated on Wednesday by the Kuwaiti Emir.
