JGBS: On JGB's Peter Palfrey, co-portfolio manager of US$6.5Bln Loomis Sayles
Core Plus Bond Fund added; "Japan looks much less attractive on the bond side,
with BOJ (Central Bank) policy expected to continue to target a zero yield range
on JGB 10-yr obligations." - But that Japanese yen "however, continues to trade
below what most analysts consider to be fair value on a fundamental basis, and
additionally, could provide investors with a valuable offset to other risk
market exposures, should there be a broad "risk off" event. We do note, however,
that with Japanese elections coming up later this month, the continuation" of
Japanese Prime Minister Abe's 'super-accommodative policies could be at risk."
