OPEC+ Output Rose 130kbpd in December to 42.73mbpd: Platts Survey

OPEC+ crude oil production rose by 130kbpd month on month in December to 42.73mbpd, amid higher output from Iraq and some African producers according to a Platts survey.

  • OPEC's 13 members pumped 27.98mbpd last month, up by 160kbpd from November levels.
  • Russian output was flat on the month at 9.43mbpd.
  • Iraq’s output stood at 4.45mbpd in December, up by 60kbpd on the month and above its December quota of 4.22mbpd.
  • Nigerian production rose by 100kbpd last month to 1.53mbpd, slightly above the quota of 1.50mbpd.
