EUROZONE ISSUANCE
  • Germany announced that capital markets auction issuance for Q3 would remain at E53.5bln but with the following changes:
    • 10 August: 30y 1.25% Aug-48 Bund auction size increased to E1.5bln (instead of E1.0bln)
    • 14 September: 2.50% Jul-44 Bund will be reopened for E1.0bln (instead of 0% Aug-52 Bund for E1.5bln).
  • Finland announced that it would look to issue a new (likely 5-year) bond via syndication in Q3 as well as holding a bond auction in September and bill auctions in August and September.
  • Ireland announced that it would only hold one bond auction in Q3 (in September) and that it would hold monthly bill auctions.
  • Slovakia confirmed that it would not be using the July and August auction reserve dates.
  • The ESM published its bill auction calendar and will look to hold 3-month bill auctions monthly July to December and 6-month bill auctions monthly July to November.
