Polls Show Canadians Backing Gov'ts Throne Speech

Latest opinion polling shows respondents backing the content of last week's Speech from the Throne - where the gov't sets out its main legislative agenda for the year - by a margin of 60-40. This will provide a welcome boost to Prime Minsiter Justin Trudeau, with the PM on somewhat thin ice following his snap election call in September that delivered almost no change in the House of Commons.
