Polls Show Voters Leaning Towards New Constitution Rejection

  • Voters are leaning toward rejecting the new constitution in September’s referendum, according to two polls published late Sunday as the body writing the charter starts the last phase of its work. (BBG)
    • Roughly 45.6% of citizens will vote against the new magna carta, while only 27.1% said they will back the document, a Pulso Ciudadano poll showed.
    • A separate survey released by Cadem reported that 46% will reject the charter, while 38% will vote in favour.
