Possible Delay to German State-by-State CPI

  • German Jan. state-by-state CPI data has possibly been postponed due to base year changes, after originally being scheduled for Tuesday 31st January.
  • We have received a response from the Saxony region and awaiting on other responses:
  • "Dear Sir or Madam, Please note that as a result of the changeover to the base year 2020=100, the January results of the consumer price index for Saxony will only be published on February 22nd, 2023 after the federal government (January 31st, 2023)."
