AUSSIE: ### POV - AUD/USD has continued to lose ground since printing a 26-month
high of $0.8066 (July 26). The rate has seen a reversal to $0.7855 amid a
backdrop of modest dollar demand, softer commodity prices and AUD cross sales.
Focus on Friday turns to RBA Governor Lowe's bi-annual testimony to the House
Economics Committee in Melbourne. Despite warning about an appreciating AUD, the
RBA seem content at current levels. Particular attention will be paid to any
further remarks on slow wage growth or the economy.
From a technical stand-point traders look to the $0.7840 area (Jul17 high now
support), a close below here is needed to shift focus toward $0.7800, ahead of
$0.7749-0.7781.
