POWER: Lithuania Estimates Meeting Domestic Power Demand by 2028

Lithuania plans to achieve full electricity self-sufficiency by 2028 and is on track to meet 65% of its power demand by the end of this year, according to Energy Minister Dainius Kreivys, cited by BBC.
- Lithuania plans two more tenders to support domestic homes to install power plants, with around €50mn of funding available to participants.
- The country is planning to install two 700MW offshore wind farms in the coming decade.
