POWER: PPA Deals Remain Unchanged On Month in July

The number of PPA’s done in July was at similar levels in June at 24, however, the number of volumes disclosed climbed by 27% on the month to 1.196GW, Pexapark said.

  • The average deal size for the month increased slightly to 59.8MW from 49.7MW.
  • Carrefour had the largest agreement in July, with a 350MW on-site solar deal with Green Yellow to power multiple locations in France.
  • Additionally, a 134MW Italian solar deal between A2A Group and Enfinity Global came second.
  • European PPA prices ended July up 3.1% at €51.6/MWh owing to price increases in the energy complex, Pexapark data show.
