Power supply has ramped up to the equivalent of two trains at Freeport LNG, according to Bloomberg citing data provider Yes Energy.

  • Freeport has three production units, with all three going offline Jan. 21 due to a power disruption caused by freezing temperatures.
  • Bloomberg have feedgas flows to Freeport at 1.2 bcf/d as of 10:50 ET, below the usual 2 bcf/d.
  • The ramp up has been supportive of Henry Hub, which has seen a strong recovery during US trading hours. Henry Hub has climbed from an intraday low of $3.814/MMBtu at 10:06 ET.
  • US Natgas FEB 25 up 2.1% at 4.03$/mmbtu
  • US Natgas MAR 25 down 0.3% at 3.45$/mmbtu
