President Boluarte Cabinet Faces Vote Of Confidence

  • Economy and Finance Minister Alex Contreras on Sunday affirmed that the Ministerial Cabinet is optimistic regarding the vote of confidence.
    • "There is a lot of confidence. I think the country needs a gesture indicating that the executive and legislative branches are aligned with the goals," Contreras said in statements with RPP.
    • Contreras remarked that the international context remains complex due to signs of a global economic slowdown and geopolitical risks, noting that other factors could harm the development of the Peruvian economy.
