JGBS AUCTION

The Japanese MOF will today sell Y3.0tn of 2-Year JGB's, opening JB#431. • 2-Year JGBs remain insulated from the broader swings in the short end of global core FI markets, with the BoJ’s on hold for the foreseeable stance continuing to limit market swings. 2s have richened a touch in recent weeks, but hover around the middle of the range in play since June ’20. Meanwhile, 2-Year JGB swap spreads operate just off the recent wides.
  • Results due at 0335GMT/1235JST.
