MNI (London)
DOLLAR-CANADA: Rate extends its recovery, off earlier Asian lows of C$1.2868
seen as the rate was shoved lower in Asia as traders reacted to the suggested
30-day exemption of Canada and Mexico to the proposed steel and aluminium US
import tariffs. Usd demand through the European morning has now taken rate up to
C$1.2947, holding just shy of the reported resistance area between
C$1.2950-70(61.8%-76.4% C$1.3001-1.2868). Through here and the recent high at
C$1.3001 becomes exposed again.
