RBA Headlines A Busy Local Docket

AUSSIE BONDS

Aussie bond futures exhibited a modest flattening bias in overnight trade, leaving YM -0.5 and XM +1.0 in early Sydney dealing, with the latter reversing the dip it saw into yesterday's settlement.

  • The latest RBA decision headlines the domestic docket on Wednesday, with no real expectation for anything in the way of the dissemination of fresh, meaningful information (see our full preview for more detail on that matter). Elsewhere, Q1 GDP partials will hit ahead of Wednesday's national account release, headlined by the net exports & current a/c readings. The monthly building approvals & CoreLogic house price releases are also on the slate.
