US TSYS SUMMARY: Risk appetite has dissipated overnight vs Thursday's late Tsy
sell-off. Uptick in coronavirus cases and new travel warnings (U.S.) and states
of emergency (Italy) have boosted safe havens.
- Mar 10-Yr futures (TY) down 1/32 at 131-9 (L: 130-30 / H: 131-10.5). The 2-Yr
yield is down 2.4bps at 1.3889%, 5-Yr is down 2.8bps at 1.3782%, 10-Yr is down
2.8bps at 1.558%, and 30-Yr is down 2.6bps at 2.025%.
- Worth noting once again a decent buying across the Eurodollar strip as
equities weakened in early Europe trade. S&P E-minis off 0.5%.
- Could be last day of Senate impeachment trial; PredictIt now has just 6% prob
of witnesses being called. Was as high as 37% last night.
- Data includes Dec Personal Income incl PCE deflator at 0830ET, followed by MNI
Chicago PMI at 0945ET. UMich sentiment survey at 1000ET is finals.
