Russia Lifts Gasoline Ban Until June 30: TASS
OIL PRODUCTS
Russia has temporarily lifted the ban on gasoline exports for fuel producers until June 30, according to TASS.
- However, restrictions will remain in place from July 1-Aug. 31, TASS added.
- The decision was made to account for the saturation of the domestic market for motor fuel and to prevent a decrease in refining volumes at individual oil refiners due to gasoline overstocking.
- The ban was initially implemented on March 1 and was set to last until Aug. 31.
