RUSSIA: Putin Hosts UAE Ruler, Holds Official Talks Today

  • Trade between Russia and the UAE tripled over the last three years, Bloomberg report President Vladimir Putin as saying as he hosted ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan ahead of official talks today. Bilateral investments between Russia and the UAE have reached $7 billion, he said, but added that trade fell slightly in the first seven months of this year. Putin said the two leaders will discuss the matter in their negotiations, as well as Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East.
