Russia tensions still at the forefront

  • A wide session for Bund overnight, (53 ticks), and the contract is off Friday high, after gaining 250 ticks from last Wednesday low (164.34 to 166.84 Friday).
  • Overnight driver has been some suggestions that Biden and Putin have agreed on a Summit, with conditions that Russia doesn't invade Ukraine.
  • Russia tensions will continue to drive assets and as such on the Bund cash open, the contract trade lower on the risk on tone, as Equities make new session highs.
  • German PPI was also a beat and is keeping the lid on Bund.
  • Today sees global PMI releases, but Russia will be at the forefront.
