Russian Crude Production Drops 4.1% in April y-o-y

Russia was the third largest crude producer in April, behind the US and Russia according to the state statistics service Rosstat.

  • Russia’s crude oil production was 10.003mn bpd in April 2022, while the US produced 11.87 mn bpd and Saudi Arabia produced 10.441mn bpd.
  • Russia produced 176.3 mn tonnes of oil between January - April of this year, up 4.9% versus the same period a year prior.
  • Crude oil production in April lost 4.1% versus a year prior to 41.1mn tonnes.
