Russian Diesel and Gasoline Production Gains: Rosstat

Rosstat in Moscow reports Russian gasoline production in week through June 18 rose 1.5% w/w versus 11.7% w/w a week earlier according to Bloomberg.

  • This comes on the back of Russian refineries running at a nine-week high as they return from Spring maintenance.
  • Production of diesel was 1742.6 thousand tonnes, a rise of 3.8% w/w.
  • Russian oil product exports are expected to rise as a result of higher refinery runs. Diesel exports have increased to places like Brazil and Saudi Arabia after EU sanctions February 5.
