Russian Flows Boosting Fujairah Product Stocks

Fujairah’s oil product stocks have climbed to a 25-month high – led by heavy distillates.

  • Fujairah has emerged as a storage location for Russian product flows left adrift by western sanctions.
  • Total stocks were 24.92 million barrels on Oct. 10, remaining at the highest since August 2020.
  • Inbound shipments of fuel oils and clean products such as gasoline and diesel hit a record of 231,000 bpd on average in August, compared with 26,600 bpd in February, according to Kpler data.
