Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has met Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran today amid an increased tensions since the removal of IAEA monitoring equipment.
- Al Jazeera: "The administration of President Ebrahim Raisi in Iran is continuing its push for regional diplomacy as tensions with the West over its nuclear programme continue to build up."
- The Presidents of Kazakhstan, Venezuela, and Turkmenistan have all visited Tehran in the past week.
- Lavrov will meet his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian and have another meeting with President Ebrahim Raisi tomorrow.
