Russian Offline Refining Capacity Jumps a Third in March

Russian offline capacity has risen by about a third in March to 4.079 million metric tons from February according to Reuters calculations on industry sources information.

  • In April, the offline primary oil refining capacity is expected to rise further, by 9.5%, to 4.323 million tons because of maintenance.
  • Top refineries hampered by drone attacks include Lukoil's Norsi and Volgograd, as well as Rosneft-owned Kuibyshev, Tuapse and Ryazan plants.
  • Ryazan was reported this week to now be running at 60%.
