Russian Oil Product Exports Slip Early October

Russian oil product exports fell in the first week of October – with diesel outflows at a three year low according to Bloomberg analysis of Vortexa data.

  • Oil product exports dropped to ~2.3mn bpd in the first week of October, down 91,000 bpd from the previous month.
  • Shipments of Russian diesel and gasoil fell to 740,000 bpd in the first week of October because of the export ban.
  • Diesel exports picked up October 6 after Russia largely lifted its export ban.
  • Shipments of naphtha and fuel oil increased during the week.
