Russian Refiners Raising Diesel Flows to Domestic Market in Feb.

Russian refineries increased diesel supplies to the domestic market in February compared to the same month in 2022, according to the country’s deputy PM Alexander Novak.

  • In a meeting with officials and oil executives, the situation on the domestic fuels market was discussed.
  • Refiners also increased production of winter grade diesel in February.
  • Gasoline exports fell by a third on the year, while diesel and gasoline inventories remain consistently high.
  • Novak has instructed oil producers and the Energy Ministry to coordinate maintenance plans and meet strong demand during the start of the sowing season.
