Russian Runs Expected to Trend Higher in August: Kpler

REFINING

Seaborne Russian crude exports averaged 3.3Mbd in July (-300kbd m/m) according to Kpler.

  • Expectations of a more significant decline were not met due to weak Druzhba pipeline deliveries and underperforming Russian refinery runs.
  • Russian refinery runs reached 5.48 Mbd in July according to Kpler.
  • Considering autumn maintenance and returning condensate splitters, Kpler projects a slight m/m increase in August refinery runs to 5.53 Mbd, followed by a gradual decline in September and October.
