Russian Seaborne Crude Supplies to Asia Fall

Seaborne crude supplies to Asia fell to the lowest since March according to vessel tracking by Bloomberg.

  • Shipments to Asia have fallen by more than 500kbpd in the past three months. Asia, including China and India, now takes about 50% of Russian seaborne crude compared to 60% in April. In February before the Ukraine invasion Asia accounted for about a third of Russian seaborne supplies.
