Russian Seaborne Oil Product Exports Fall 2% m/m in January

Russia's January seaborne oil product exports fell to 10.792 million metric tons in January down 2% m/m and 8.6% y/y due to lower processing and unplanned repair work according to Reuters sources.

  • Russian oil processing dropped 4% from a year earlier in January and 1.4% from the previous month after Ukrainian drone attacks according to Kommersant.
  • Total oil products exports via the Baltic ports of Primorsk, Vysotsk, St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga last month fell 13.7% year on year and 6% from December to 5.646 million tons according to Reuters sources.
