Russia’s Daily Seaborne Oil Products Exports Fell 10.4% In Feb MoM

Russia’s daily seaborne oil product exports in February fell by 10.4% month on month, following the Western sanction and the EU embargo on 5 Feb, data from industry sources and Reuters calculations showed.

  • Seaborne oil product exports fell to 9.531mn tonnes from 11.781mn tonnes in January.
  • Oil product exports via Russia’s Black Sea and Azov Sea ports fell by 20.5% to 3.229mn tonnes from 4.499mn tonnes because of stormy weather, according to data from market sources.
  • Exports from Baltic ports of Primorsk, Vysotsk, St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga fell by 4.1% on a daily basis to 5.665mn tonnes, from 6.540mn a month prior.
  • Far East ports increased oil products export loadings by 18.9% on a daily basis to 576,000 tonnes last month, from 536,000 tonnes in January.
