Safer Haven Currencies are in the red

  • Safer haven Currencies, JPY and CHF are on the back foot today, with Equity once again tilted to the upside, but it's been a fairly tight range for Estoxx (VGM3) so far this week, 4083.00/4149.00, low/high range.
  • USDJPY has tested and broken above yesterday's high, but has lacked clear momentum to clear the 132.00 figure, printed a 132.03 high.
  • Extensions above the latter, opens to 132.50.
  • While USDCHF has failed to break 0.9223, Yesterday's high.
  • Despite the Risk On tone, AUD is the second worst performer in G10 against the Dollar, albeit still well within yesterday's range.
  • Australian inflation data came below consensus, at 6.8% YoY vs 7.2% median calls.
