CHINA PRESS: Sales of convertible bonds in the first quarter have reached
CNY86.5 billion so far this year, more than the total for last year, or four
times the IPO proceedings, driven by the prospect of a bullish A-share market,
the Securities Daily reported. Many companies choose to use convertible bonds to
replenish capital after they obtain listings, it said.
