Saudi Aramco Gas Output to Rise 60% by 2030

Saudi Aramco will increase gas output by 60% by 2030, its Executive Vice President for Strategy and Corporate Development Ashraf Al Ghazzawi said March 20, cited by Reuters.

  • Aramco recently shelved plans to expand oil capacity and is now focused on developing unconventional gas fields in KSA that are similar to US shale fields.
  • The company said it was also looking at investing in LNG.
