Sempra Infrastructure in Talks on EU Supply and Terminals

Sempra Infrastructure president Brouillette has today said the company is in talks with European companies on LNG supply and terminals. The company are looking at JVs on European LNG import terminals.

  • In recent months Sempra Infrastructure have announced heads of agreement for off-take capacity of 3mtpa from Cameron LNG Phase 2 and Port Arthur LNG with PGNiG, 2.25mtpa with RWE and 1.4 mtpa with INEOS.
  • The final investment decision on the first 2 LNG trains at Port Arthur with capacity up to approximately 13.5mtpa is due in Q1 23. The Cameron LNG expansion project will allow production of an extra 6.75mtpa in addition to the existing 12mtpa capacity.
