US DATA: Sept import prices +0.7% and +0.3% ex. petro. Petro prices 
+4.5%, total fuel prices +3.9%. BLS made no comment about hurricane 
effects. Import prices ex all fuels +0.3%, with gains in foods and 
feeds, industrial supplies ex petro, capital goods and autos offsetting 
a small 0.1% drop in consumer goods import prices, suggesting underlying 
inflation. However, non-fuel import prices +1.3% y/y and import prices 
ex. petro +1.2% y/y, compared with +2.7% y/y for overall import prices, 
so energy still the key driver. Export prices +0.8% from Aug and were 
+1.0% ex. agriculture, as agricultural export prices -0.7%. See MNI main
