Spot USD/ILS has inched lower this morning and last sits at 3.7298, down 47 pips on the session. Should bears manage to force a break below 3.6881, which limited losses on Nov 21 and is located just under the 38.2% retracement of the 2021 - 2023 upleg (3.6937).

  • The beginning of a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has been delayed until Friday amid logistical issues around the hostage-for-prisoner releases. Mediator Qatar said an announcement on the matter will be made in the coming hours.
  • Israel's September manufacturing output data will be released at the top of the hour.
