Silicon Valley Bank Downtick Extends Pre-Market

EQUITIES
  • Pre-market trade in Silicon Valley Bank makes for a cumulative ~77% decline since the Wednesday close for the stock.
  • Larger US banks are faring far better, however: Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo all broadly flat pre-market, to name a few, and the smaller cap banks (e.g. Fifth Third Bancorp, Comerica, PNC Financial) are set to see far less volatility at the open relative to yesterday's choppy trade.
