Single Currency Sits Strongest in G10 as EUR/USD Bounces Off Lows

  • EUR/USD recovering well off the early NY lows - pair now back into positive territory having traded as low as 1.0748 at the crossover. While a fade off the highs for the greenback is partially responsible, EUR strength is also coming through, helping tip the single currency to be the strongest performer in G10 at pixel time.
  • The pair's bounce off lows has been somewhat gradual - with volumes data showing solid and persistent activity in EUR futures over the past two hours or so - helping tip volumes to sit around 40% ahead of average for this time of day.
  • The 100-dma sits above at 1.0814, with the Tuesday high just above at 1.0821.
