Snr ANC Off'l Says Party Resolutions On Russia & U.S. Still Stand

News24 reports that ANC Deputy Secretary General Nomvula Mokonyane aid that the ANC's resolutions taken at its December conference regarding Russia and the U.S. "stand" while "the [U.S.] ambassador can't change ANC resolutions."

• The ruling party's resolution on foreign affairs stated that the conflict in Eastern Europe "can no longer be described simply as a Russia-Ukraine War — it is primarily a conflict between the U.S. and U.S.-led Nato and Russia."
• "The Western imperialist dominance over Eastern Europe is being advanced not through free trade and open competition for markets, but through U.S.-led expansionist military strategies," ANC officials said in the document.
