Some recovery off the lows

  • Dust is settling in Bond markets, after heavy early selling was met by good size bids.
  • Early volumes were above average especially in the US, but has slowed down in the past hour or so, as Bond futures find some support, in turn some resistance in Yield , with cash and Swap desks likely involved, after the US 10yr fell short of the big Psychological 5%, equates circa 105.07, printed a 4.9791% high, still highest since 2007.
  • Bund fell short of the 3% level , which was tested in early October, printed a 2.961% high today, and equates to 126.90 in futures, printed a 127.28 low.
