South Korea's S-Oil Expects Stronger Q3 Refining Margins

South Korea’s S-Oil forecasts stronger refining margins in Q3, spurred by peak summer transport fuel demand.

  • Over the April-June period, S-Oil said it operated the CDUs at its 669,000 bpd refinery in the southeastern city of Ulsan at 94.6% of capacity - compared with 91.9% in January-March.
  • It plans to shut its No. 1 crude distillation unit some time during the second half of this year.
