Spreads should maintain European LNG flows as TTF Jul remains steady at 88.145€/MWh

  • LNG netbacks remain firmly in favour of flows to Europe. The netback from US to Europe at 19.55$/mmbtu vs 14.28$/mmbtu to Asia.
  • 14 cargoes are due into NW Europe between now and the middle of the month, 9 of which originate from US according to Bloomberg tracking data.
  • The monthly average LNG imports to NW and Eastern Europe for May were down 40k mt to 196k mt per day but remain 17% above the 5-year range for this time of year.
  • Exports from US LNG terminals was also above the 5-year range with a daily average of 232k mt
